How we work

Every engagement starts with a specific situation: a presentation that needs to land,

a team that needs to be ready, a moment that matters. Most clients come with their material already in place. The task is to ensure it is delivered with the authority, composure, and impact it deserves.

Typical engagements

Engagements are built around real situations:

  • Preparing a team for a competitive pitch or mandate presentation.

  • Coaching a senior leader before a critical investor or client meeting.

  • Sharpening delivery ahead of a fundraise, product launch, or IPO roadshow.

  • Rehearsing a CEO or partner for a keynote, town hall, or panel.

  • Intensive preparation before a leadership selection or board interview.

  • Sustained one-to-one coaching for a founder, partner, or C-suite executive.

Focused preparation for a single event may involve one to three sessions. A sustained coaching relationship may run over months.

The preparation

Preparation follows a clear structure.

1. Diagnostic

A focused assessment of the presentation, the speakers, and the demands of the room. What does the audience need to see and hear? Where are the pressure points? What needs to change?

2. Intensive rehearsal

Detailed, live coaching on the actual material, with close attention to vocal delivery, pacing, authority, transitions, and physical presence. This is where the most visible transformation happens. It often happens quickly.

3. Pressure preparation

Targeted rehearsal for difficult questions, interruptions, and challenge. Preparing speakers not just for the presentation, but for everything that follows it.

4. Final sharpening

A final round of preparation close to the event, refining delivery at the points where it will matter most, and building the composure to walk into the room ready.

"When it comes to preparing to speak in moments that matter, Oliver is the best coach I know."

All work is confidential.

Engagements are scoped as a fixed-fee project based on the situation and the level of preparation required. Oliver works from London and internationally, in person and by video.

When the material matters and the room matters, delivery defines the outcome.

If you have a presentation, pitch, or important meeting approaching, an initial conversation is the best place to start.
